We write a lot of Open Source code. Image if each your public repository will be a tree. Check your greenness)
My application allows users to convert their public repositories to the forest.
Execution takes some time. Sometimes about 30 seconds. Be patient.
Needs a loading screen, I spent far too long trying to click on the name input and having it not work that when it finally loaded I had already hit F5 and had to wait again for the forest to load. Would be cool if I could know which tree was mine, maybe being able to set my color so I could see my tree in the forest, otherwise with the other big hitters I didnt even see anything change when I added my account. Cool idea though, I love data visualizations.
So creative and innovative! You should continue it later to make it better! Please vote for my entry too: http://www.angularattack.com/entries/312-prozillaz
Good concept .. Voted for your entry.. I suggest better if you can add wind to the environment
Please check out one too..
Great app Mykhailo!
You did the application in 48hours alone, I know it's so hard.
I would like invite you to play my game, and give me some feedback in my entry: http://www.angularattack.com/entries/6-somodev
Its a good innovation, and nicely designed app.
Great work! I like the motivational words like "The universe will never forget you". It would have been nice to see an animation of the trees growing to emphasize progress over time. Adding a link to each repo would be useful.
What a creative idea! And the design and execution is awesome :)
How about adding the ability to click on a GitHub username on the right to view their forest? Also, it looks like the canvas might not be getting reset between entered usernames?
Amazing design and UX. Really liked it, simple and to the point. Looks like I need to code more as 'Universe will never forget me' :D
Super simple and yet fun :)
Nice app. It looks great and does what it's supposed to do. One thing I can think of is that as soon as you check your score, there's nothing more left to do there. The leaderboard is also not that useful because it only shows users who used the app.
